the carousel


dinner at chalk then to drinks at timbre. time just flies. when youre having fun that is. lately, its like ive been on many carousels. some gave me thrills ive never experienced before, but mostly were heartaches and just. trying. though, they dont say you'd see the light at the end of the tunnel for nothing, coz i see my light. albeit faint beams at times, it'd suffice. coz we have, forever and a day. =)



their light is my source of encouragement. two more days! =) somehow we never fail to be the kiddy thirteen year olds whenever we are on holiday. sigh. is it time for another break yet?!?







i think this is barely an hour into our theme park saga. so till the next post. =)

 

a place to hide

went to play host to dawn whos a really funny caucasian. i enjoy the dry humour and the way she digs at the stuff i find annoying too. brought her to have dim sum coz she wanted to try as many asian cruisines as possible. i think the daredevil had her shot at more eccentric stuff than what normal asians would have had! first time in my life i had the waitress warn us we ordered too much food =/ hahahaha think she underestimated four seemingly small eaters. polished most of it for that matter. anyways, jen and shu the last picture is for you. doudou says hi and i swear the pair of freaking-damn-expensive jeans is as freaking-damn-impractical. the next time i wear them (if i ever do!) is when im sure im standing while eating or drinking. now picture my deep breath face like throughout dinner! haha maybe im exaggerating but yeah, i cant wait to meet up again! =) or maybe its coz of an-icecream-a-day-cant-keep-the-fats-at-bay! sorry im trying to rhyme here. =/




my favourite teddy grahams that are obsolete in supermarkets already and in cinnamon! so yes my choice of mix in definitely =) day three of the adventures of food sex and the mute. i actually do talk what =/ went to mount coo-tha and then more shopping. the day i had a runny nose and i thought i was gonna die. either that or that my nose would just drop off after a whole day of rubbing and sneezing, didnt help it was so cold. i miss holidaying. have to wait again. GAH.










jen came back with a pair of shoes less than what we bought in hongkong and finally trudged back to the buddy's place where she cooked chicken pesto pasta for us! yum. then to three monkeys for drinks hence the last pic. =) i love my friends.

 

find happiness within

taste the freshest ice cream on earth and thats what you get. this damn wam and fuzzy feeling in the pits of your stomach. haha im so not cut out to advertise but seriously, go try marble slab. it can give italian gelato a run for its money. ive been at iluma the past two days, non stop eating ice cream. the last i remember having it as my staple three meals a day was when we were in venice and milan. so im relieving those times now in freaking sunny singapore. must try! the double dark chocolate! ooooh-myeee-gawd good. everything is made fresh and theyre asia's first flagship store. try it try it try it!! =))) im spoilt for choice i think i tried everything on the menu already =/ which explains my massive weight gain and sigh =( try it try it try it!

gone too soon
a tribute

to another legend. as are my holidays. im taking a break. i think its the monday blues (yes they sank in already) coupled with stress from having to finish up my photos, and maybe the dread of having to start work again. its the i-cant-pin-point-whats-wrong nagging feeling im getting so i will work tomorrow when im fresher. continuation from the bash. pardon the tardiness and lack of zest. the whole body's retarded and unwilling to work no more. =/ helluva small insect bite that ballooned and now i look like ive a swollen ankle. gah. moody =(









an extremely sweet customer made us this photo frame which is now standing proudly at vel's office. speaking of which bea and i had quite a lot of fun at my virgin shoot there. took damn long to finish what we could do in less time previously but it was all in good fun. had to learn to use the equipment before they left so hopped over. my not-so-new bb! (i dropped it like three times already =/) just look at the damn cute graphics. i love it. we aborted plans one night to go try and pimp it but no one, not even hermes, decides to make a bb pouch =/and like what an email i received said, "i see youve gotten the blackberry too! youre gonna be the workaholic soon!" when i replied rach's email via the bb she exclaimed (i hope not in horror!) too. im like the slowest person on earth to adapt to change but i very like this phone. goodnight... long one ahead. =/



at the airport to see the baby sis off. she text-ed today to ask if everything was ok coz internet is so darn ex she couldnt get access. so cute. dont worry vel belle. your emails are in good hands =) love!








i miss my fwends =( hahahaha but one is back!!! yay! im not sure i can say this but i dont care la pk. you already had a whole day of fun so yay! i cant wait to see you tomorrow!!!! =)

okay i should stop now coz it really seems like an exaggerated speech, but im sincerely grateful and humbled. im sure i speak on behalf of vel and rach, that it is a stepping stone, a giganormous push for us to move forward and scale new heights, so as not to disappoint. some peeks into that day. the models were the best la. never complaining, always on time and ready. we are truly blessed. i promise to upload more soon and post up as many as i can! (coz some of you have photos with me and i promised to send! heh) the rest are with our photographer of whom i already bugged to email me with his part of the loot soon.







more to come with those who turned up. just waaaaaay toooo many to sift through and will do so when im fresher. daddy's second celebration. i think we spoil this only thorn amongst the roses. i always call dad a durian, prickly on the outside but soft and just so-damn-kind inside. love them like crazy.

and! i was honoured to visit angie's new abode (office only la) when it was still baren (unlike now!) and tried on my herve leger inspired bodycon dress. it was awesome. now you know why we damn love angie and co! =))))) pardon the misfit shoes, i was so in love with it i just had to try it on. to see if there were any alterations to be done. and voila. none at all. very pretty. (the dress la! hee) and one more inspired by alexender wang. i cant wait for them to arrive =)
